Yoga for teachers in Lapland

A practical exploration of yoga and mindfulness for teachers, focusing on well-being, stress management, and integrating mindful movement into daily life and the classroom.

This 5-day yoga course for teachers is an Erasmus+ course specifically designed for teachers of all levels and schools. The hands-on course introduces yoga principles, various yoga styles, yogic philosophy, and mindfulness practices to support teachers in their personal and professional lives in well-being and stress management.

Held in Rovaniemi, this course combines indoor and outdoor sessions, allowing participants to fully experience the healing power of nature. Yoga and mindfulness exercises are integrated into seasonal activities, such as mindful forest walks, sensory awakening in nature, and meditation under the Arctic sky.

Whether you are new to yoga or already have experience, this course provides practical techniques such as breathing exercises, asana practice, and relaxation methods that can be used for self-care and in the classroom.

Led by former teachers and experienced yoga and mindfulness instructors, Sini and Piia, this program offers a unique opportunity to recharge, reconnect, and build resilience.
